We arrived in Panama with an open mind, looking for that perfect spot to retire. After our trip to Costa Rica last year, we were convinced it was the place to invest. 2 days with Duane, his limitless energy, and incredible knowledge of Panama's history, and present situation, and our minds had been changed. Duane had been telling me about Panama for many months, and on a flight home from Miami I overheard some gentlemen speaking about Panama real estate, so I decided to take that tour finally. What an experience. We travelled to Bocas del Toro and looked at some projects there, then to Gorgona, Coronado, Las Perlas, El Valle, Altos del Maria, and finally Farallon. Duane has so many contacts its hard to believe that such a young guy from Canada can be so integrated into Panama. I had never though I would invest in real estate in another country. To me this seemed like a scary prospect, filled with risks. One lunch with Duane and I was sold on the idea.
