Panama is located between Central America and South America.  It covers 75,517 square kms.  It is between 89 and 192 kms wide, and is bordered by 1288 km of Caribbean coastline and 1701 kms of Pacific coastline.
Panama has a tropical climate, and enjoys 2 seasons; Dry Season runs December to April, and Rainy Season May until the end of the year.
The current population of Panama is 3.1 million.  The majority speak Spanish, however English is widely spoken in banking, and consumer areas.
The currency is the Balboa, which has the same value as the US$.  US$ is legal tender in Panama, which does not print its own bank notes, but does mint coins, which are used along with US coinage.
Electricity is 120 volt, 60 cycles, the same as used in North America.
Panama enjoys a democratically elected government.  There is no army, and the soverignty of Panama is guaranteed by the United States.  There is excellent health care facilities readily available in Panama at a fraction of the cost in Canada or the US.  Johns Hopkins Medical Centre opened its second only facility outside of the US in Panama City.

We are a Canadian based company that many years ago discovered what Panama has to offer.  We want to share the amazing things we have found with as many people as possible.  Panama has everything, from lying on a beautiful beach in the morning, to zipping along the rainforest canopy in the afternoon, to having an amazing meal overlooking the ships transitting the canal in the evening.  Everything is close by in  Panama.  You will be amazed by how inexpensive everything is.  Clothing, meals, insurance, housing, and more are all a fraction of what they cost in North America and Europe.  Panama is a very modern country, with high speed internet access, and cell phone service readily available.  Note too the modern skyline of Panama City.  Many visitors are surprised and impressed by this.  There are many new skyscrapers being built now as well, part of what is helping to fuel the amazing real estate boom now happening all over Panama.  We have taken many amazing pictures of Panama and have attached as many as possible to this site.  Please ask us for more if you wish.  We look forward to hearing from you soon, and  hope you are able to visit beautiful Panama to experience it for yourself.
